Hollywood News: Brooke Shield's mother and manager, Teri Shield's dead at 79

After having a long battle with Dementia, the mother of Brooke Shield, Teri has died in New York.  She is remembered for also being her daughter's manager in show biz and helped her get her first start in a movie role as a prostitute when she was only 11 years old.  That was during an era when right was wrong and wrong was right, in other-wards, she allegedly started a trend that people disagreed with.  

After several roles in movies and commercials, Brooke Shields is still known all over the world, because the only thing that was right, was her mother had a dream for her to act and model since she was a baby.  According to DailyNews.com, Teri no longer managed Brooke's career in her 20's.  However, history still lives on that this Hollywood movie star and model got her first start, because of her mother allowing her to do something very different, but awkward in that era.   Although, morally it was wrong for her to star in the role, Brooke Shields can always thank her mother for making sure she became a household name and being able to proceed taking decent roles in the Hollywood movie industry.

Teri Shields raised eyebrows when she allowed her 11-year-old daughter, Brooke, to be cast as a prostitute in 1978's "Pretty Baby." A few years later, she permitted a teenage Brooke Shields to famously star in a series of commercials for Calvin Klein jeans, provocatively professing that nothing comes between "me and my Calvins."
